Among the main problems, that "are found in the families with respect to the education of their children", Javier Ros emphasizes "the lack of dedication to the children due to the extense labour schedules, the lack of formation among parents or the delegation in the school of vital educative tasks that correspond to them".
This university course, which will begin next November, will provide future teachers with basic knowledge about the anthropology on which "proper education should be based". In the human sciences' module, the main aspects of Family Sociology, Psychology and Pedagogy will be taught as well. Finally, the program also includes matters like sexual education of the adolescent, recognition of human fertility and family counselling.

The course for the degree of University Specialist in Education and Family also counts with the support of many other educational institutions, family counselling associations and parent's schools, among others. This way, the student will be able to experiment through the module of practices "how to work and what is the reality in family counselling centre, in a school for parents or in a psicopedagogical clinic", added Ros.
